If you ever plan to go to Stromboli though, I suggest you take a telezoom lens and a tripod along, and you dont go up on the small tourist platform where I shot this. Instead, stay about 100m lower at the observatory of the Italian civil protection, where they have a bar and a restaurant. Put your camera with tele lens on a tripod and keep your remote in one hand while you enjoy excellent food and drinks with the other hand
